Cattle and Crops Control

Agricultural and Livestock Management

The recent introduction of the innovative RPAS or DRONES technology in the tasks of inspection and control of agriculture and livestock is a revolution in the sector. It allows to know in real time the state of the farms at significantly lower costs than traditional methods, which facilitates the optimization of available resources and the improvement of their efficiency.

Fuerteventura Drones places its RPAS or DRONES at the service of the primary sector equipped with high definition cameras and thermal and multispectral sensors to solve multiple needs:

Crop control and ripening crops: The capture of aerial photography in HD of large tracts of land allows the rapid identification of crop species and the counting of them in a short period of time and with lower costs. In addition, the use of multispectral sensors allows the control of the state of the crop fields, giving information on the degree of maturation of the crops, thus achieving a maximum optimization of the periods and areas of collection and harvest.

Irrigation control: The scarcity of water resources means that the efficiency in the management of water resources and their use becomes increasingly important. The Unmanned Aircraft equipped with thermal and multispectral sensors allow the rapid detection of leaks in the irrigation systems and the evaluation of their effectiveness. These studies allow to plan maintenance, repairs and improvements in order to increase the efficiency of irrigated crops.

Pest control: The capture of aerial multispectral images is an enormously useful tool for the identification of diseased trees and growing areas or invasive species. It greatly reduces the times and costs of detection and limits the affected areas with great precision. It allows to plan the treatments and evaluate their effectiveness and evolution over time.

Cabin control: by using aerial video in HD and aerial thermography, the location and counting of livestock is facilitated, being able to monitor large areas of land in a short time.
